A Niece Arrival!

Today you came and light was rosey,
Your sweet round cheeks, so cute and dozy.

The pale pink hat upon your head
Made all of us eat what we said.

“A GIRL! A GIRL has come to be
The peaceful soul of the family.”

The squeaks and gurgles, more than toys
To 4 big brothers, no more boys!

We all are anxious, thrilled to see
What one small girl will grow to be.

So welcome pink, barettes and flowers
This new found world is worth it’s hours.
