Dreaming undone

“Sometimes I look back and think my whole adult life has been underlined with a feeling of waiting – waiting for something to happen, waiting for circumstances to change…to infuse me from the outside in with a feeling of well-being and validation and peace of mind.” -Caroline Knapp, from The Merry Recluse

The scope lays vast
Never at peace…

Choice celebrations out beyond
Cluttering mind…

The Knowing smiles on display
Unfathomable surprises…

Hearty accolades unfold
A dreamer’s wish…

Moving pictures stream free
Life on vacation…

Giants conquer malaise
And are given more…

Arm-in-arm connectedness
Envy taps heart…

A toast with wine and lighted glow
Unaware of blessings…

An evening of fun
Onward questing…

Unimaginable stasis
No bounty desired, just a spot at table

Floating above the fray
Drifting clouds…

Unless the pages Speak, and…all dreaming is undone.
