Dreaming undone
“Sometimes I look back and think my whole adult life has been underlined with a feeling of waiting – waiting for something to happen, waiting for circumstances to change…to infuse me from the outside in with a feeling of well-being and validation and peace of mind.” -Caroline Knapp, from The Merry Recluse
The scope lays vast
Never at peace…Choice celebrations out beyond
Cluttering mind…The Knowing smiles on display
Unfathomable surprises…Hearty accolades unfold
A dreamer’s wish…Moving pictures stream free
Life on vacation…Giants conquer malaise
And are given more…Arm-in-arm connectedness
Envy taps heart…A toast with wine and lighted glow
Unaware of blessings…An evening of fun
Onward questing…Unimaginable stasis
No bounty desired, just a spot at tableFloating above the fray
Drifting clouds…Unless the pages Speak, and…all dreaming is undone.
