Gone Be Giant

IMG_6828 - Copy no info

Giant is dead
Gone is its breadth
The drape of its shade
The red feathered reach
Giant is gone
A reason unknown
If only you knew
The heartache in witness
Giant in pieces
Cut from its root
Ripped from its hearth
A clutter of mess
Giant is past
No longer a beacon
An Autumnless phase
A partner alone
Giant no more
A teary-eyed sadness
An anchorless view
A shattered wakening…
