Crutched

IMG_3742 (3).jpg

There once was a girl with a cast

Who didn’t think it was a blast

Just sitting all day

While the world was at play

She prayed that is so wouldn’t last.

Her crutches were not very fun

They kept her from being in the sun

She’d write steadily

And hoped she could be

Outside soon to walk, dance and run.
