Morning’s Glory
A window to Hell blew on open
and Nightmare assaulted with force
A clatter of fear ringing hollow
As tears ravaged cheeks in the dark. But Glory persisted in background
and day brought its light so unmatched
Then breeze plunged its way on a feather
with birds yelping praise in their song.A dance so beyond every sadness
it splashed upon cheeks broken still
A kiss of such wonder sailed forward
and pain hovered frozen in air.In steps heavy-laden with misery
a wonder dissolves into Hope
that Action speaks louder than sympathies
and Light’s break carries on through tomorrow.
