Today doesn’t feel like Winter
Today doesn’t feel like Winter
there is a lightness
in the air
a Lightness
in my soul
it’s where I want to be
Today doesn’t feel like Winter
the snow is still there
brown, muddied, bleak
there, to be trampled
soon to wash away (I pray)
Today doesn’t feel like Winter
the wind plays
dances and bites then dances
Again
not sure of its self
Today doesn’t feel like Winter
Hope pervades
buoys spirit
and spirit dances
with the lightness
in air.

Oh I can feel this too!
Ha yeah the weather keeps flip flopping. I’m trying to convince it to stay Spring-like. 😉
