Unconvinced

It’s all in my head

the bubble filled

i shake it round

its not unwilled

They stand steely tall

a glint and wink

They won’t reach out

i barely blink

But we’re all the same

mere metal tells

yet, headless They

these empty shells

i shake sparkle free

and smile there

upheaval dance

They glance, then glare

They are not impressed

my hope is dashed

They choose to stand

i’ve stumbled, crashed

for nothing more now

can move Their souls

i’ve done my part

sick playing roles

i’ll let it all go

let sparkle cheer

i’ll bask in that

and rest right here.
